These cottages were part of the original Olympic Village during the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles. Several hundred cottages were brought down from developer Robert W. George who developed 163 small lots off of Bluebird Canyon.

Many of these cottages were named after famed Olympians for bringing home many gold medals and Olympic records for the US. These cottages were then promoted as ‘Laguna Olympic Village’. They are now reimagined with updated materials at the same time protecting their story and showcasing the Olympians.
